Moderation at DSTV Forum.

So since I am rather vocal regarding the "So much more..." I am receiving from DSTV on MBB and the DSTV Forum.

I received some arb referral to a post # that was irrelevant to my reply and made it clear that I am confused as to referral to said post.
MC Rory then made some sarcastic comment as to my having to read it until I do.

A some of you might know me, I am not one to stand for bullying tactics having had that at NAG from Miktar and subsequent banning after my reply...I digress...I replied with some wit and on my sumission of my reply was notified that my post will be "approved".
Well...my post never appeared, so I can only assume that it never met their approval.

I then replied with the information of the blog again and the post was deleted.

There was no correspondence from any mod or even a message as to why my posts were deleted.
I have asked why my posts have been deleted, no answer.
I have messafed MC Fathima and still no answer.

So now I am making it public.

Its a bit silly that they set up this forum so that they can get feedback from the customers and then they moderate it so that you can't really give your opinion.
 
Well it seems that all my posts and threads now needs to be approved first.
I am sure that it is just a system error and not part of a much bigger problem.

I have messaged the mods in regards to the approval as even as per this thread it can only be an error. :rolleyes:

As all my posts and threads are adhering to their T&C's and my posts are clearly not spam from any point of view.
It could only be a system error and not anything else. :rolleyes:
 
Check that other thread somewhere here about the heavy handed moderation ..... it seems they have a group of sensible people who they moderate and a group of fanbois, who they leave untouched, who then spout off any old bullying thing in any thread to anyone. It's double standards 101.
 
When you complain about channel screw ups you get told "MC isn't responsible for the channels"? But when you criticise the channels you get moderated by MC!

There are 2 posters that have this "right" on the MC forum.
Any reply to them is seen as unfair and out of bounds and gets moderated instantly. :rolleyes:

Every poster that has anything negative to say about MC and/or question the actions of Mc gets moderated.
Threads and posts get missing and posters require constant approval for all posts and threads.

you should pm RPM and get them to do an investigation on the censorship of paying (through our asses) customers .....

I'll play fair first.
I dont want to get rpm involved in this to be honest.

I'll get hold of the smaller blogs first and then go from there. :D
 
So I have sent the administrator a pm asking him about the system error.
No reply as of yet...

I did imply that by moderating the very thread that is questioning their moderation they have rather succinctly vindicated my thread.
I also glibly added that sometimes Silence is best. :D
