these cars are actually street cars, most of them you can drive them the same way you would drive a standard car
once the car is built to a certain power goal and the owner keeps within that limits the car will perform relatively reliably, its when you push the limits that the car becomes unreliable, but that's the case with any car, modified or not

That is assuming the person who is doing the modifications actually know what they are doing. Which really means that they should actually have some knowledge of mechanics and physics (especially when you start fiddling with suspensions). With aerodynamics it is even more tricky. You would have to drop some serious cash on getting a wing that will actually do what you want it to do, (which means you need computer aided modeling at a minimum).
Then there is the way you engineer/design a car. Most of the time there is a trade off between reliability and performance, this is why the engines in Formula one are only designed to last about 4000km.
A badly designed car will be unreliable even by the most careful driver.
A badly modified car is no different than a badly designed car.

those cars in the clips are really poorly built yes, typical backdoor mechanics working on lamborghinis

Plenty of backyard mechanics working on Lamborghinis. Check out the Vehicle Virgins YouTube channel. The guy has a supercharged Huracan. Initially he wanted to get a turbo kit, but had lots of issues with getting it installed, with delays and whatnot. Eventually he just told the guys to put the car back together, and he took it elsewhere.
A friend of his had a turbo kit fitted by the same guys, and he developed serious issues very quickly. Overheating, gearbox problems, etc.

the vehicle virgins guy is an idiot, he knows very little about cars, who drops their car off like that and expects it back within a week, any one with some sense would have known better
he reminds me of this other guy who dropped his M5 and a 100k at a garage and expected it turbocharged and driving problem free when he came back for it, was quite a scene on the fanatics forum a few years ago

You buy petrol at the petrol station and milk at the Checkers.
Technically you'd beach the car on a speed bump and sink it in a pothole.

Or bread or any other groceries. When I get to power (And I still have my Zim passport, and there's a power vacuum there presently, so don't scoff), people that buy groceries at the gas station will be castrated. Publicly.

What if its 9pm and you don't have any milk?
Point I tried to make is all those cars will never work properly on a real road, with potholes and speedhumps ect as they too low to safely clear them.
Think I'm lying, look what happened to Obamas limo when it beached on a speedhump
not really a modified super car, but the car happens to be a project of the designer of the best hypercar ever, also I love the production, not hyped up like the americans do, just getting to the essence with the greatest of ease
its also very much the same spirit of the type of car I prefer- old analogue vehicles with the original look and modified drivetrain and suspension. The Opel manta they have in the workshop is crazy!
