Were you also surprised when he acted on the Nugent report? I think you were just giving him the third degree for no reason at all, of all the commissions established so far he has acted accordingly on the reports. It is now two out of four, hopefully you'll give him the benefit of doubt next time?Well colour me surprised and I am happy to admit being wrong.
Former Deputy National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) Nomgcobo Jiba "lied" to President Cyril Ramaphosa, and should be fired immediately, according to the president’s letter addressed to her.
In his letters to Jiba and former Special Director of Public Prosecutions, Lawrence Mrwebi, Ramaphosa said the findings against them by the Mokgoro Inquiry were of a "very serious nature".

Johannesburg - In her submission to President Cyril Ramaphosa regarding the damning Mokgoro report, the now axed deputy national director of public prosecutions (DNDPP) Nomgcobo Jiba pleaded with Ramaphosa to give her a senior position in government instead of leaving her unemployed.
"Your request to be appointed in a senior position in the Public Service cannot be acceded to because of the findings of dishonesty and disregard for the courts that have been made against you in the Inquiry report.
"These findings would preclude your appointment to such a position as these are qualities that are required of all senior public servants," the president wrote.
Parliament special committee meeting will decide the matter?Hopefully they will be struck from the roll as well.
Former senior prosecutor Nomgcobo Jiba has approached the Western Cape High Court, challenging Justice Yvonne Mokgoro's report which found she was unfit for office.
Jiba launched the judicial review application on Wednesday, her lawyer Zola Majavu confirmed to News24.
In the notice of motion filed in court, Jiba is asking the court to order President Cyril Ramaphosa and the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) to reinstate her to the position of deputy national director of prosecutions position "with all associated employment benefits with immediate effect".
She believes section 12(6)(c) and section 12(7) of the Act should be declared unconstitutional in that the requirement of a simple majority of Parliament for the removal of the National Director, Deputy National Director, Director and Special Director of the Public Prosecutions rather than a two thirds majority is inimical to prosecutorial independence.
Jiba's papers argue that the terms of reference for the Mokgoro Inquiry into her fitness to hold office be reviewed and set aside on the basis that they amounted to an "unconstitutional investigation into binding court judgments and order and/or violated the principle of prosecutorial independence".
Looks like she received lessons in fallacious arguments right here on MyBB"I point out the race of the suspects because I know that if the roles were reversed and a black policeman had overseen the murder of over twenty (20) white suspects, I would be regarded as a heroine for prosecuting such an accused."
Former National Director of Public Prosecutions Mxolisi Nxasana says he received reports that fired senior prosecutors, Nomgcobo Jiba and Lawrence Mrwebi, "bragged" that nothing would happen to them.
Nxasana was testifying for a second time at the state capture commission of inquiry on Monday.
