Moneybookers Withdrawal

Hi,has anyone successfully withdrawn from moneybookers to their bank account?
I requested a withdrawal of a few 100 on the 29th of March and havn't recieved anything yet.My account and bank are verified.Just wondering how long it took for anyone else.

Been there, done that. Usually doesn't take longer than 3 days but I'd say give it 7 before you worry too much :)

Although, it seems you've already waited about seven days. Okay, maybe start worrying :o

Lol,thanks,guess i'll wait till the end of the week b4 i start throwing emails at them.
 
I emailed MB,and they said:

We would like to inform you that according to our records the requested withdrawal dated 29 Mar 11 was successfully processed at our end. However due to some banks’ technical issues sometimes bank transfers are delayed and this is the reason why we are sending you the SWIFT message of the transfer, which you need to provide to your bank so that they can further assist you:"swift code here"

They also said i can take a screenshot of my internet banking to show incoming transfer since 29th of march.

I'm pretty sure it's something to do with Absa,but i cant find anywhere i can send that swift transfer message to them.Does anyone know where i can contact absa via email.I don't want to have to go to a branch and sort this out.
 
I received money through it, my wife has had to wait up to two weeks sometimes if we send money to Manila.

Ok thanks,ill just have to wait a bit longer and hope it comes through.
Why do u have to wait 2 weeks to send,normally its instant if u send with moneybookers.
I've sent and recieved plenty times,but this is the first time im trying to withdraw from moneybookers.

Dunno. Its faster if you have a credit card isnt it?

Yeah, but cheap. Based outta London. If you wanna move money between banks accounts Ive found it the cheapest way so far. Cause you EFT a local bank.

Isn't that R20k a total of your income, not just one source?

Ie. If you you had a R20k salary and then were earning R15k through a mini-donut/Moneybookers account, you'd need to declare the latter?

Dont know. Just logged into my moneybookers to see the exact amount and it says " our outgoing transaction limit 211508.00 ZAR [?]" Thats over a 90 day period.
 
Yeah,i've been emailing ABSA,and they were holding the funds until i told them what the funds are for.So i told him some is recreational and some is salary.So he replies "Please confirm if the funds are for internet gambling or for recreational or for salary, please note if funds are for internet gambling we will reject your payment.

Please clarify the nature of payment."

So what am i supposed to say?Pretend i didn't say some is gambling and just say its salary?
Are there any other banks that don't give this crap?
