Hi Guys
I need some advice, I am thinking of buying a new monitor, but things seem to have changed a bit and after reading up a bit I'm still ever slightly confused.
I currently have this monitor: Samsung B2330
My budget is around R3000 and I don't really think I want to go any bigger than 24" with the screen as I am using the PC for office purposes and having a huge thing in my face might make it hard to speak to our clients.
The main thing is I don't know what is better to get these IPS ones or 3D 120hz monitors? (As I understand 3D have better refresh rates and better response times, where as IPS offers better viewing angle and nicer colours)
And does having a 3D monitor mean you can play games and watch movies on 3D? And if so what other then the monitor do I need to make it possible?( I've got a Sapphire HD7950 Vapor X and an i5 3570K if it makes a difference.)
I am not brand attached at all, looking for a quality product. On that note anyone know what these LG's are like? My experience with LG products are sinister at best. If you guys can recommend anything else I would love to have a look at them.
Lastly will a new monitor even make a noticable impact? The family is looking to buy a new monitor, but I can pass mine along and get a new one if it will be noticable.
Any advice and recommendations are appreciated.
