Graphics card signal is carrying spikes to the monitor. Get external card. Or power to monitor is dodgy. But I would guess signal. Is your pc on ups. If it is, then either dodgy mobo or get graphics card. Switch out monitor now as well
If this was the case, then wouldn't the monitor have worked fine when I plugged it into the 2nd PC? Yet it had the same problem. Will try to get another graphics card tomorrow regardless, just for surety sake. Though, this begs the question why it was working fine for the last week. I really can't recall doing anything different from what I usually do. In fact, if anything, I was less on the computer than normal.
Did you use a new DVI cable? I still think that the sync issue could be at play, if the same cable was used...
Yes. Currently using the one which came with monitor.
