Hi all

A quick question.
At my company we seem to have a issue with our monitors they seem to go faulty more often than usual and we are always having them replaced or repaired. They either have a yellow tint to them or have a humming noise. It’s not like they are a rubbish make. We have LG and HP only...
I thought at first there might be something in the building causing interference but now I’m thinking it might be linked to power problems like surges but no other hardware is giving us hassles...
Any suggestions??

Possibly dry joints from the circuits heating and cooling causing the solder to crack.
Are the monitors adequately ventilated (nothing covering the top and sides) ?
Are you running the monitors at max Res/Hz? This causes at lot of stress on the electronics.
Are the monitors going to sleep often (power saving)?
