Ok I know that there was threads on this matter but i need to know this. I use a BenQ FP93G X LCD screen. Now my problem is my screen starts to flicker and garble. I have been running on 75 Mhz and no prob for about 2 years. It then started to flicker. I then updated my drivers etc...but now less than 2 months later im getting the problem again. Is my screen damaged? Also must i force it to run on non intended Mhz?

I heard i should update my BIOS but how? And is there anyway i can just use a link that will scan my computer and automatically update everything? Lastly does it matter if i dont install drivers the proper way?

Drivers should not be required - my FP91G+ doesn't use the BenQ drivers at all and everything is fine. Try uninstalling the monitor from your Control Panel / Display Properties, then re-boot the PC - Windows should pick it up automatically. If it gives problems, then install the drivers that came with the monitor.

I didn't think that the screen refresh rate made a difference on an LCD? Mine is automatically set to 60 hertz
