Anyone know of a place in durban that can repair crt monitors? got a 19 inch crt and it just suddenly doesnt switch on. not looking to pay a fortune since crt's are so cheap nowadays

the going rate for basic repair is around R500.00
If it is worth that much to you then go ahead... but you can probably find 19 inch LCD monitors for R1000.00 these days.

thing is the 19 crt i have does up to 1600x1200 so for me to trade that for an lcd that does 1440x900 wont make sense. screen real estate is important to me. oh well guess its time to get a 20" + lcd since they seem to be the only ones with decent resolutions nowadays
