Hi, everything seems to be working with routesentry and my Local and Int cap.

However on my ISP's 'ADSL USAGE' page it does not show me the information of how much bandwidth i have used on both accounts ( local + Int supplies by ONE ISP). Is there a programme that can manually, physically monitor each account whilst RouteSentry and both Accounts are active?

Cybersmart is supposed to show you how much you have left in your Local Only and International account - separately. If they don't, call them.

Otherwise get a monitoring program like Netlimiter or DU Meter.

Hmmmm.

Just to see if RouteSentry was in fact doing its job i have found an error.

I joined a server (gaming) in WINDOW MODE so i could see the two Connection Properties and get an overall description of what connection was receiving more than the other. The LOCAL only connnection was doing its job whilst the connection with the INT on it wasn't active of that compared to the Local only connection. However when i open a LOCAL Only Website ie. www.myadsl.co.za / http://games.saix.net BOTH connections are active in the process of LOADING the page even though im browsing a LOCAL website which then should only use the LOCAL account. ie. I type www.myadsl.co.za in my browser, i click GO, on the left of my screen i have got both connection stats which tell me how many bytes are being sent / recived and then i can see which connection is doing its job and will relate to RoueSentry to see if it is in fact working, but it is not for the BROWSING point of view. When i load a local website BOTH connections (int + local) are active in the process of loading the page. However when i load an INT website only the INT connection is active. Please help as i do NOT want my Int connection to load the Local Websites as the Local connection is doing this.

Thanks.

You do know that a Website can contain info from Multiple sources/IP/Geographic locations right? MyADSL uses google-analytics (thats international) for their site stats and whatnot - that is the International usage you see. It's nothing to fret about by the way because it will be Rather minimal usage.

Thanks on your prompt reply.

The problem i have got now is that both connections + RouteSentry are working 100% but i see an icon on the left bottom of my screen:

f_help1m_4b1d17e.jpg

Stating: Limited or No connectivity
I have tried to click REPAIR but it states "couldn't repair".

I have tried restarting my Computer but same icon appears. There is NO conflict with my gaming and/or Browsing - Everything works fine. I would like to however remove this icon and/or fix this problem (if any). This did NOT show before i set up RouteSentry and/or Bridges my router and/or set it into Device type: MODEM.

Please don't come up and say the sh8t excuse of "you running vista" everything is working and i am using a Vista Skin. In other words i am running Windows XP.

No Problem. :D

You are running Vista. No wonder you are having problems. :p

If the network works FINE, don't worry about it. Mine does that once in a blue moon - but everything still works 101%. So I just ignore it.
You can remove the icon by Going to the LAN connection's Properties...untick "Show icon in notification are when connected" OR untick "Notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity". :)
