Monitor's response time

I have Acer AL1951cs with 4ms response time... How does a person with 2ms response time benefit better than 4ms - 8ms (what's the impact of 2ms difference anyway)... Do i enjoy this response time when i'm playing games because i doubt if there's any difference when it come to playing video file or viewing images....

Which is the best monitor out there? sorry, too many questions in one post

Best mainstream monitor available in SA, probably the 30 inch HP.
It has a 92% colour gamut (other minitors do 80% of so) and
it has response rates in the range you mention, plus its 30 inches big

not entirely sure... what do you rate as best. some rate size, some rate brand and others response time.

at work i have an 8ms and at home a 2ms.

still cant see the difference...
