How bad are these drinks for you? I've been consuming 1 to 2 tins a week. I started drinking this when driving long distance about 6 months ago as an energy booster. Now I drink it more as a cooddrink as other sugarfree cooldrinks leave a sweet taste in my mouth.

How bad is this Absolute Zero Monster for a banter? I am a type 2 diabetic and over the last 6 months since I've start consuming this, I have, because of my hflc diet, lost about 6kg and stopped using insulin (as advised by my GP).

They are very good.

I try to limit my intake of them, but usually before I take part in a race (mountain bike or run) I have a Monster Absolute Zero and I can definitely say it makes a difference to my performance off the start. If I do a ride or run without having my pre-race Monster I take much longer to get up to speed.

My diet is pretty much Pepsi Max - mostly with Brandy, lots of meat and the occasional Monster Zero. Sometimes after a very taxing workout I'll have a Monster Rehab, it is not KJ free but it is low in KJ, I think about 200KJ per 500ml which is a 5th of the normal Monster.

I'm a big fan of Monster Absolute Zero because it works.

You'll have studies on just about everything saying how bad it is for you.

With regards to keto, you'll probably come across studies saying it'll kick you out of ketosis due to the sweetener "fooling" your brain.

I generally take everything with a pinch of salt, if it works, it works, if it doesn't - well - it doesn't.

they are awesome for you i just drank one 5 minutes ago and ive tasted other energy drinks and they are sooo nasty they taste very sweet and leave my stomach hurting i just don't see why so many people like them i personally also love rockstar and full throttle energy drinks while lots of people hate those 2 but love monster i just think red bull is an overrated as an energy drink what do you think with 12 spoon fulls of sugar redbull cant be good for you then to top it off the taste is noxious but i think the commercials the artwork on the cans is what catches most peoples eyes and the people they use as spokespeople to sell the product really do help sell the product i personally think no one drinks them for taste but more as a status symbol monster drinks have made a huge name for themselves in the market and people want to be seen drinking them and that is so awesome i think redbull does taste like cough syrup dont you energy drinks generally have a pH of 3.3 the same as vinegar combined with sugar they are perfect for eroding the enamel on teeth and causing a lifetime of dental problems while moderate coffee consumption has been linked to longer life although this is almost certainly not the case for energy drinks and while caffeine makes us feel more alert and awake it doesnt make us smarter in fact some research shows that caffeine actually impairs our ability to think creatively which isnt a good thing dont you agree coffee and tea are a far better way to go according to some although everything in moderation of course time for another monster absolute zero for me gotta go

:D Very much so! On this years TransKaroo 240km ride from Ceres to Sutherland I had a second Monster Zero after the 3rd checkpoint, 145km into the race with 95km to go, managed to overtake quite a few riders after that. Make no mistake these energy drink give you a short term boost of energy, you will need something substantial to fuel you if you plan on going for long stretches.
