Monsters & Demons

My problems started when I was very young. I grew up in Hendrina, as most of you might know it is a very small little town. My stepfather was a contractor for the power station. Nothing to write home about until one day I was out playing in the yard. I was really small for my age.

3 teenagers grabbed me and drew all kinds of messed up stuff on my back and face with a permanent marker. I tried to get away but the one boy slapped me till my ear started bleeding. I passed out that day. The lady next door saw what was happening.

They drove away in a VW Fox that was black and its wheels painted red. After that day I was terrified. I got a speech impediment. My hearing was gone and I was just messed up from that.

Many years on, we moved around a lot but I always hear dripping water, I always smell burning for whatever reason. My nightmares are a mess but I will go into that later.
Shame, i am sorry to hear that you had to go through that.must be awful.

I like to think that in my case its some past memory or Something but nothing sinister. Im a very logical person and like to think theres a explanation for everything but Unfortunately the weird stuff just keeps happening.

I experienced this one. Must of woke up too quickly felt like someone was holding me down. Watched a series not so long ago were they explained it happens sometimes to people. You are paralysed by your brain when you sleep and if you wake up too quickly your body doesnt get a chance for it to wear off in time.
Its a terrible experience.
Same. Woke up & heard something screeching (the thudding, the shrieking noises) up the stairs. As a dark figure entered the room I tapped out. Feels kak real in the moment - heart pounding.

Or drink real coffee.

I guess I can share a story about sleep paralysis but I don't know if it is strange or not but normally I drift in and out of lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is fun I have to admit I really enjoy the ability to just relax and just walk around what is essentially my own mind.

The waking-up part isn't as fun. I normally wake up with a hand on my chest pushing me against the bed. The rest is the typical demon or alien story but I think the body is trying to produce a state of fear to get the adrenaline pumping. I would wake up and just look around the room hearing every noise thinking it is something. Living alone makes this very scary.

The creepiest dream I had was while I was still living in my car. I was in the middle of jobs and not the best place to be. I was sleeping and woke up. Again with the hand on my chest pushing down. but all around the car it looked like hands were pressing against the windows. Never saw any faces. I woke up and I knew it was a dream because I would cover the windows with black bags. They do a good job.
