Moose Moving ! Primary School - Helderberg Basin!

Moose oh moose you need to come to JHB . Capetonians are not friendly and can't braai

If you double that there is a new Curro in Somerset West not too far from Beach Road.

The English HO has sent an email there asking a few questions.... thanks!

Check out Hendrik Louw in Strand. Its basically just up the road from you. My wife and quite a few cousins went there. She says its a double medium school so they give classes in english as well.

I also spent my teenage years growing up in the same road. Lovely area.

Spent the earlier part of my childhood in Somerset West and went to Beaumont. Also an awesome school.

This actually looks like a good and quite close to where we hope to reside for a few years.... thanks!

Are you going to stay with your current employer.

Hell no! I have been in the retail trade for 22 years, currently have 80 employees and stuck in a rut..... need something smaller and more manageable.... it does not help that we have two equal partners that want to take our current business in different directions..

This is all planning/research stage, nothing in concrete, life is still good up here and I shall miss it , will be keeping my NAM passport and shall return one day!

Thanks for the advice, it is appreciated! :D

Not mad about city life, but I reckon if I get to wake up every morning with a view over a False Bay beach and then head off to work after rush hour traffic , I might survive.....! ;)

Be prepared to pay through the nose.

Hi Moose if you staying by Beach Rd you are around the corner from me. If your child/children are English and you cant afford to go private R5k+ then your only option is Hendrick Louw. Its a really good school. Otherwise its private (Staying in Strand you cant go to Boumont etc) and will cost.

Beaumont is a very beautiful school, but we are somerset west and they had issues with the zone where we lived, it is a public school, I think it was R1300 pm. We also needed a school for our daughter in a rush, Hendrick louw seemed slightly more Afrikaans focused, then you get somerset house (50k p/annum), Reddam (like 70k) so we settled at Mondeor eco school, max 12 kids per class(R4k pm)

Why do they call Reddam a house. It's not a house, it's a ****ing school. Bunch of pretentious pricks.
