Hi guys,

With MoP around the corner and the 5.0.4 patch coming out on the 28th it seems, introducing the new class changes/talent systems, I though it would be nice to have comments on everyone's' class in one place.

If you have comments, likes/dislikes post them here, I'm curious to see who will be the next best class :)

I have to say looking forward to the warlock pet changes!!

Regards,

Shamans lose totems...which kinda sucks. This is what made Shamans different.

Totems will only give a a short buff (like some sort of CD).

Shammy Buffs will be class abilities according to Blizzards Survival guide post?

Wish they would make mages OP on DPS meters that would be nice.
Mana Capped??? WTH lets just hope they either take spell mana cost down or make regen insanely fast.

I think some changes will need to get used to. Like capped mana as an example. I can understand why Blizz decided on that route, but it will take time to get used to it. I'm sure that they will balance it properly for healers. Also, once of GC's blue posts about capped mana indicated that DPS casters shouldn't run out of mana if they use their regen mechanics.

I'm looking forward to some of the changes, but wary of others.

No idea.

I rerolled to Shaman for MoP because Paladin is just the suck...they sucked in Cata and they'll suck in MoP.

Well that depends for what you used your paladin... Mine was an awesome tank and probably the best healer pve and pvp.
What I found really lacking in Cata was my warrior's tanking compared to other tanks. Yes survivability was ok, but really doing less than half the dps then all the other tanks.... Warrior dps were nice, and I even enjoyed it in pvp, but tanking....

I used mine just for tanking ^^ Ret is just so stupid :p Tanking wasn't fun due to the whack-a-mole cool downs that you have to keep on waiting for =/ I really don't enjoy playing paladin anymore.

And yes, Priester, Shaman's looks like a lot of fun in MoP :D

I agree with werries2, Warriors lacked something when tanking, the other classes felt better for some reason, I will stick with them for the first part of MoP and hope they get some nice abilities or sorts.

I haven't seen any animations...will youtube some :)

Seems like warlocks will go OP...maybe.

PS. Patch till now was 6.5gig more or less

I spent most of last night rewriting all of my macro's.

Some interesting things I noticed about druids. Balance and Resto druids that go into Cat or Bear form gains Agility equal to their Intellect. Feral druids gain Nature SP equal to their Agility, so healing and spells like Wrath is boosted.

You can now mount with Noggenfogger skeleton, and apparently in Moonkin form as well. If you use the Glyph of Stars, you can mount in the modified form and your mount becomes see-through. Looks cool with the Sandstone drake.

With Shadow priests, I saw that there are only two spells that generate shadow orbs, but they don't disappear over time.

Yeah...had an interesting time getting use to the SP changes, was testing on a training dummy though and I have a definite DPS increase though.

Took a little bit of getting used to with my Druid. I chose the Force of Nature talent, because it worked nicely for me in the past. Only afterwards I realized they dropped the duration down to 15 sec. WTH! OK, the cooldown was reduced to 1 min, but this prevents me from using them when I want to pack that extra punch on a specific mob.

So I changed to the Chosen of Elune Moonkin talent, which does a bit better for me.

Also, RIP Insect Swarm. Although Sunfire is now always available, and not just in Solar Eclipse like in the past. So I've still got two DoT spells.
