So for the sake of saving this thread from Diablo here is something about WoW for a change :p

I've recently started playing Beta MoP and I must say, Monks look like an awful lot of fun.

I'm thinking of dumping my Paladin (which is bored as...poop ;p) and reroll Monk Brewmaster for tanking.

I haven't played around with nay of the other classes yet, but I feel like a fresh start in WoW.

Anyone else played Beta and what's your take?

Also, any one has any idea when it will be launched? :p
 
Normally, Blizz takes about 6 months from start of beta to launch. But it's different with MoP. With the Annual Pass beta invite, they got a lot more testers than usual, and it sounds like they started earlier with the beta test than they usually would.

I think it's likely going to be around the end of the year, or early next year when they release.

I'm also going to start a Monk when MoP releases, but I haven't decided on starting as a Pandaren or one of the other races.
 
Meh...WoW sucked up way too much of my life (to the point where I actually have a server first achievement)...doubt I'll allow it to suck me back in any time soon.

Casually I cant do. Tried it. Failed. Somehow I always end up a hardcore guild fighting for server 1st's and good world rankings.

I don't know maybe its to do with the fact that when I do something I like to do it fully to the best of my ability.
Or maybe its just the shiny lewtzz!!
 
I've never really been into raiding. During WotLK, I did heroics and a couple of bosses in the raid. With Cataclysm, I haven't even done the heroics and haven't set foot in any of the troll dungeons or later.

I might try to give raiding a shot in MoP though.
 
haha. I've been on a long break from Cata. Just got really bored of doing the same raid over and over again.

And with a Paladin...which is boring as ffff...hell :p
 
Have to say, I'm considering starting again...new account and everything...but maybe GW2 will be a better bet this time around...but maybe when MoP comes it will be awesome again.... :)

Lightbringer and Twighlights Hammer me thinks.

I'm on Outland (very full PvP server). I prefer full servers from almost dead servers (used to be on Dentarg).

PS. Welcome back :D
 
I am currently on Twilights Hammer, man i tell you on alliance side the server has gone dead at night, SW was always very populated from 19:00 onwards, its less busy than Dalaran now.

I also have toons on Alonsus which is alot more populated at the moment than TH. Guess every1 took a break until MOP

Yep, I have as well. I just do a few quests and dungeons for some gold and log off again. Cba to raid...DS is just so boring.
 
Yes i agree, very boring....the random BG queues are looking good though so i will be spending some time doing some PVP.
 
I'm looking for either a good Horde or Alliance PvP realm, where my side wins :) Currently on Saurfang - Horde, and we never win PvP games sadly. We are looking to join a raiding as well :) if all this is possible on one realm
 
Outland is well balanced I hear.

PvP wise I mean. It's about 50/50 with BG's.

There are plenty of raiding guilds on the realm as well :)
