And it just when I wanted to watch the Dam Busters....

I think they show the Dam Busters for about 100000th time now, so I am sure you will have yet another chance of seeing it

There was a big storm around Jhb from about 5pm to 8pm... then it was lots of rain ;-)

I don't think that the JHB storm was the problem. Probably there was a storm wherever they broadcast the signal. Otherwise how do you explain that CNN and few others were ok throughout the evening.

yea, i also think it was the storm in joburg. I had no signal at all, but that would be because of the heavy cloud cover.

And i suppose for the ppl in other parts of the country had problems cuz multichoice themselves also lost signal due to the clouds, and so they couldnt relay some channels..

Certain transponders were not affected, one Vertical was up and one Horizontal.

I would rather think it was the storm... but I wont rule out "oooooooooooooooooo, what does this button dooo? <click.... darkness>"

Its funny how they all came on at once and the other 2 were not affected one bit. MNet analogue was also down, etv and sabc were all fine.

I am pretty dure it was the storm here... as for as i know all channels are uplinked from randburg...
