84 Carrying of firearm in public place
(1) No person may carry a firearm in a public place unless the firearm is carried-
(a) in the case of a handgun-
(i) in a holster or similar holder designed, manufactured or adapted for the carrying of a handgun and attached to his or her person; or
(ii) in a rucksack or similar holder; or
(b) in the case of any other firearm, in a holder designed, manufactured or adapted for the carrying of the firearm.
(2) A firearm contemplated in subsection (1) must be completely covered and the person carrying the firearm must be able to exercise effective control over such firearm.

This however applies only to carry in public, and it's what the law says rather than what the cops enforce. Personally, I'll stick with a holster.

Sneeky: For storage you'll still need a safe.

graagh, back to work... this much work on a friday is a sin.

There's definitely something suspicious going on here.

I'm wondering ... I don't even know what all the ministers look like, never mind the various officials look like. I'm sure the 'muggers' don't know either... Something smells very fishy indeed.

Small matter of being followed from the bank, then mugged as have so many others. Who are these insiders at the bank?

Most likely the tellers.
Same thing happens with domestic workers - they may not steal anything themselves but they'll tell others what security you have, when people are not at home and what goods are inside your house.

You don't even need the tellers to be in on it, its not hard to hang around a branch and watch people withdrawing cash.

Disagree. How can you stand around in a bank for an extended period of time (without being challenged?)

I personally know of one person murdered the same way. There have been others. Who are the insiders and why don't the banks investigate?

You could have a number of people rotating etc. I'm not saying it happened, but it is possible.

Yeah, bloody useless place to keep a firearm. Guess he didn't want to ruin the lines of his suit. Should've shelled out some of that R9k for a Galco Executive.

Ouch! Good one heheh.... fascinating thread...
