More Netgear Probs- Please help!

My mate has just called me- he has netgear DG834G four port router/modem and its giving him uphill...

He's had dsl for like a week and all has been well, but now all of a sudden the tick light on the modem flashes orange instead of green, as does the icon with an 'i' on it. Needless to say he cannot connect at all...

Mweb have confirmed that his account is up and running and all is well their side, so it is not that.

Anyone have any ideas?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Test with another modem, Looks like the Telkom line could be fault. The modem do not seem to sync

Can he access the webadmin pages of the modem ???.

ok no worries guys. telkom finally got back to him and its a fault in the line. Good luck to him getting that sorted.
