More proof why greenies suck

I have never met an honest greenie, nor a rational one. It's all mother earth this, gaia that and all day long human extermination fantasies.

Now greenie policy has once again cause massive human suffering for no positive benefit.

Then of course, there is Liam Sheahan, the Reedy Creek home owner whose house is the only one in a two-kilometre area which survived the fires. In 2004 he was fined $50,000 for removing 247 trees around his hilltop house to protect it from fire. His two-year court battle against the Mitchell Shire Council cost him $50,000 in legal fees.

Clever man but it cost him quite a bit to do the rational thing.

This is the best bit:

Victoria's bushfires have spewed millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere - more than a third of Australia's entire output for a year, according to Sydney University's Professor Mark Adams.

I fully consider myself a Greenie, I also *despise* Green Peace and Tree Hugger and all this mother earth this and gaia that.

Maybe now they will think twice before building/buying their house on a tree-infested mountain/hill.

It was their mis-guided thinking that led them to buy a house in a potentially very fire hazardous area and as much as its sad that people died in the fire, you can;t blame the council for not cutting the trees down. Trees sustain life.
