2 months before Seacom goes live .. wonder why only now ??!?!? .. oh thats right .. Telkom had no-one else to worry about ... OOPS .. thats changing PRETTY SOON .. roll on June ...

Over the last year Telkom says it has significantly improved its helpdesk performance - reducing the average time to answer a call from as high as 30 minutes to 60 seconds...

I hope this is not a joke. But I do find it strange that they do not provide any timelines.

This is too reasonable to be an april fools article.

I'm sure caps and speeds will improve towards the end of the year - they have to, with seacom coming and competitors on their ass!
 
Why does anyone bother making announcements on the 1st April - everyone knows its a joke. Otherwise if its not then announce it on the 2nd
 
well, telkom has been making announcements all their existence. all they need is to back it up with some action...
