I blame the Heroes of Might and Magic series for the bulk of the time i wasted on gaming.
But i vote for World of Warcraft because apparently non of its players can break away from it to post on this thread.

I got into Peggle last night - I think this one might be up there with a bullet.

Bubble Bobble

Agreed, My little brother and I would play for hours, on stage 15, every now and then a magical door would appear, taking you to past 20 or so stages... was quality.

Think i may just play this now :)

Yeah that review was dead on the mark lol. It's still the gaming equivalent of crack cocaine though.

Another vote for HoMM3.
Anyone remember Total Annihilation? A friend and I still do that every so often as a LAN game.
On Linux, I'm finding OpenTTD to be quite addictive, just from the point of view of finding out how everything works. I'm amazed at how huge the support base is.

My missus is totally and utterly addicted to Kyodai Mahjong. She spends much of her free time on it. She has scores that most people would never dream of getting.

Agreed. OpenTTD is just.plain.awesome. Its shocking to see how fast you progress through the years, only to realize you've been playing for a solid 5 hours!
