Not joking here, but the Ford Ka is a brilliant option in that price bracket, I have driven a friend of mine quite some distance in hers and it really is a solid little car.

Chassis feels planted, steering is responsive, you get ABS, Air bag, A/C, Power steering and Fog Lights on the Trend...

It's not quick by any means, but the Kent engine in that car is as bulletproof if not more so than the later Zetec engines in the Fiesta.

The Ka has a Rocam engine, not Kent.

My sister has had two that were serviced by the local private mechanic in Nelspruit.

If Nelspruit can source it then anyone can.

I love Daihatsu Sirion If I had extra cash I would buy it just to satisfy my heart desire. Maybe when I finish paying off my car little Sirion will be still on the market I would buy it.
