most comfortable car seat?

What car has really comfortable seats?
Let's not talk about the fully electronic, back-massaging, b***s-warming, make-you-a-cup-of-herbal-tea Maybach seats or anything of that sort.
I'm taking about normal cars that everyone can generally afford.

I drive an Opel Kadett. I love my car, even though it's a '97 hatch. Gets me everywhere I need to go, even across the country occasionally. It was cheap when I bought it (compared to a new car), and it's still fun to drive cos the 2L and the short-ratio gearbox makes it quite lively.
Thing is, it doesn't have the most comfortable seats.

Love the MK6 Gti seats - they feel very comfy

But the last generation s class seats are more comfy than my couch, and they have depreciated badly to the point where its within reach of everyone

Not the biggest fan of Volvo, but they do have the best seats I have ever journeyed in.

I don't have the recaro's but I find the Leon seats to be very comfy as well. Nearly everyone who drives with me comments positively as well.

+1 to that, I get the same comments. Last year I had some back problems (slipped disc) - friend came around to pick me up and take me to the physio, but I just couldn't sit in his seats without being in agony (RunX) ...I made him drive my Leon instead!

I have heard that s-class seats are dampened somehow (so there's some sort of spring-and-shock arrangement down there where it's mounted onto the floor), hence the ridiculous level of comfort.
If it's true, that's true genius.
Anyone know?

New C class seats are nice and comfy. I quite like my A4's seats, also very comfy.

My worst was my old Honda Ballade, man those seats were so bloody uncomfortable. My legs would actually sometimes go numb if I was in the car for too long.

The Honda Civic seats are really comfortable. Absolutely can't stand BMW seats...bloody uncomfortable.

Think you are mistaken about BMW seats, mine are quite comfortable but it could be because it has the "individual" seats fitted
