Most expensive smartphones in SA

I am bracing myself to buy the iPhone 6s 64gb cash when it launches next week. I hope I don't have to fork out more than R12 500 which is the current price for the iPhone 6 64gb.

I think it should be about that price. Takealot et al. are all stocking grey stock with limited warranties. Rather get it from the iStore.

I agree. I don't mind waiting another week. The added benefit of local stock, besides the warranty issues, is that you get the right power adaptors for SA.

This. None of these phones have anything to justify their value over the older models.

If you overprice it they will come.
 
It's "included" in the contract so no worries. OK, there is a line in the invoice saying how much you pay every month for your phone, but clearly not many people read their invoice.

Do Apple chargers come with SA plugs on them? That's actually quite cool.

I don't see the point in spending that much on a phone, but clearly many people do.

Yea, all Apple products bought through official distributors are equipped with the standard 2 pin plug.

That's a europlug. I thought that you meant that you get an SA 3 pin plug which can go straight into an outlet.
 
Never thought i'd see the day when Huawei devices are ranked among expensive phones
