Most silent 120mm fans...

Looking for 3 of these fans but they must be silent...like no noise whatsoever!Any suggested?Btw I dont care for leds, or any of that crap. Just want effective,silent fans.

Have a look at Noctua or Scythe fans. You can order them from overseas here:

Its gonna cost you, but if you want silent and move lots of air, that's the price you have to pay.

First of all, silent usually measn low RPM, and low CFM, you can achieve this by using a speed controller, but from what I have heard, Noctua NF-12 is very good and quiet.

Noctuas are great, very quiet and still with a higher CFM ratio than most other fans, even on slower speeds.

I disagree I find them to be louder than my Zalmans, but if you want silence get a good speed controller, I'm running my 120mm fans at 550 rpm and they hum along nicely.

I meant not a bad price if compare to the usual price we paid in SA for other quality components. Maybe it's not what you looking for

Presently running 4 Vizo's with the side of the case open and less than 30cm from my right ear and it is a pleasant hum

They are not bad I must say but I've used better

The cooler master silent series I find to be the best value IMO, cheaper than the Zalmans but quieter.

These Noctua fans use a Self-stabilising oil-pressure bearing (SSO). It is supposedly better than fluid bearing
