Motherboard Advice

Search for my Phenom II thread, had some nice suggestions for boards there. Soz, but my internetz is to slow today to do it.

IMO no.
1) Asus - try get support off their website it really sucks.
2) AMD - unreliable

Good PC's are intel chipset based coupled with their CPU. Good Mobo manufacturers offer 3 year warranty on their mobos.

Ok, I'm getting rid of my Q9300 on a biostar board to go with AMD. Change is as good as a holiday they say.

I think I'm going for either of the following.

Asus M3N-HT Delux/Hdmi
Asus Crosshair 2 Formula - Republic of Gamers

I'm not going to mess about anymore and I want to Sli 2x8800GT's.

Lol. You have no idea what you're talking about. Firstly asus make the best boards. For amd and intel. Ever wonder why people always recommend the asus p5q for intel. Next amd is just as reliable as intel.

To the op. Why not post a budget so we can make recommendations?

I own that rog board. Really awesome. I just love it to bits. Lcd, two esata ports, loads of overclocking options.

It's just not am2+. Unless they released a new board that i'm not aware off.

*AHEM*

I have never ever owned an Intel based PC and have never had a problem... so don't come with your "unreliable" stuff here... PLUS I'm using an Asus board with my current AMD system and it works like a bomb!

I love AMD users, they are so easy to wind up.

wonder why that is.

Get the same reaction as boy racers in clapped out cars showing how 'fast' their wheels are.
