Just thought I'd try try this before I send my old notebook to lappy heaven 
I have a Turion64 ML-34 processor that is in good working order. Sadly the rest of the notebook is not. I've been wanting to build a small computer to use as a fileserver/torrent-downloader/mediacenter for a while and this processor is ideal - cool&quiet, easy on power, and powerful enough to comfortably playback 1080p video.
Has anyone used a Turion64 in a desktop before? Any pitfalls? I see it's supposed to use Socket754 but I was under the impression there are differences?
