Motherboard...slow or fast?

Hi

How do i know if i have a slow or fast m.b? Some are R1500..and some up to R3500...what makes that R3500 one so expensive?

Currently have MSI 970A-G46 AMD 970 Motherboard w/A8 + LK + USB3 + SATA6 RAID

If i buy more expensive mainboard...will i see speed improvement?

hi,well faster no not really
what you get more is

the more the MB cost,usaly it support faster ram 1866 2000 2400 etc
have more graphics card slots

and have better Overclock capability,like a exstra molex plug for more power that makes ocing better

also onboard audio are better

so its more a feature thing then performance,for performance its better to invest in a better graphics card

if u dont have a SSD,get that its a way better upgrade than a better MB

Agree fully with sybertiger.

You pay for more slots (ram, gpu, usb etc.)

Speeding things up is better achieved with an ssd. They much cheaper than what I paid for my Corsair P256. A good example is BF4 loading times.
