Motherboard suggestions

I'm currently running an i3 on the old 1156 Intel setup. I want to upgrade my CPU, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to find a 1156 i5 CPU. So I figured might was well upgrade to the newer technology. However, I'm on a pretty tight budget. I've already decided to go for the i5 2500, but I now have to figure out what motherboard to get. I have a total of R3000 to spend on the whole endeavor. So any input would be greatly appreciated.

That looks good thanks, although I see it doesn't support USB 3.0. Not a deal breaker though.

What do you have at this moment for your motherboard?
Secondly, how do you connect your screen to the PC? Via HDMI/DVI to a dedicated graphics card?

I currently have an Asus P7H55-M Pro motherboard. I also have my screen plugged in via DVI to a GTX 460. Also, thanks for the link, didn't even know about Rebeltech! I've been a bit out of the whole PC business.

That is quite a nice motherboard. I'm using an P7H55D-M Evo + i7 860 at my office.

What RAM do you have? I hope that it is 1.5V memory modules...

What do you intend to use your PC for?

I'm quite happy with the motherboard, when I upgrade I'll stick it one of my older spare machines.

The ram's 1.5v, so there shouldn't be any issues there at least.

The PC is mainly for gaming. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I don't need the latest and greatest, but I would like to upgrade to a faster CPU. I feel that the i3 530 I currently have is holding performance back at the moment.
