Mothobi Mutloatse is the founder and chairman of MobileTV.
He is also a board member of the International DMB Advancement Group (IDAG).
Dr Mothobi Mutloatse, was awarded an honorary degree in philosophy and literature in June 2011 by the University of South Africa (UNISA) for his contribution to publishing, especially during the apartheid years. He is also an accomplished writer, playwright and publisher of more than 30 years. He is 61 years old with five children, runs his own Mutloatse Arts Heritage Trust in Johannesburg, counting among his authors Alan Boesak, Desmond Tutu, Peter Magubane, Frank Chikane, Don Mattera, Fatima Meer, Gcina Mhlope, Miriam Tlali and Lebogang Mashile.
