Motion quits unexpectedly (Ozone Plug-in)

Hi,

So I have a client whose Motion bombs out with an "Ozone Plugin" Error.

He has tried reinstalling Final Cut Studio 2, doing updates (ProAppsUpdate2007-02) etc.. I have trawled the furoms and tried all the solutions they provide...

Anyone else had this problem, and found an alternate solution?
 
It looks like this error is thanks to the Motion 3.0.2 Update...

Apparently doing that Pro-Apps update that you mentioned was supposed to fix it! :-(

Some say after RE-INSTALLING the Pro-Update it worked for them:
OK... so the issue is resolved for me. Thanks to a tip from Mark Spencer, I reinstalled the ProAppsUpdate2007-02 and it finally launched immediately after doing so. Nothing else I tried worked... reinstalling, etc. Thanks Mark and hope this helps someone else out.

Try re-download the update as well: http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/download/

Tried the reinstall of the ProApps patch.. didn't help, but this site looks like they are pretty clued up! Thanks again!
 
Had a chat with Labspace.tv and they suggested creating a new user account and running motion there...

or staying off leopard for the time being. :)
