MotoGP 2018

I hope it comes down to last lap. Would love to see a Rossi Marquez battle in final lap...
 
I missed the main race in the morning as I was on the golf course. Avoid the result and spoilers all day until I could catch the replay at 9pm. Get on the couch all comfortable... promptly fall asleep and miss it.:rolleyes:

Still, sounds like I didn't miss much. Gutted for Rossi though. Would've been a great day for him. His half brother Luca Marini takes his first victory on the SkyVR46 bike in Moto2, his other rider Bagnaia wins the championship and he wins the main race. Sadly not to be.
 
FP1 results. I see Lorenzo is down in 19th, 2 seconds off the pace. At that speed, it seems pointless for him to ride but he might be doing the free practice sessions to gauge how he's feeling and might make a call based on that.

Ah, FP1 was wet. I was wondering why Miller and Petrucci were so high up. They are great in the rain so that makes sense.
 
Conditions for FP2 must've got worse because the times were slower. Again Petrucci was right up there. I'm sure he will be hoping it stays wet the whole weekend.

Yoh, tooit Q2. Vinales, Rins and Dovi your front. Marquez takes a spill on his first flying lap, dislocating his left shoulder in the process. Goes back to the garage, gets it popped back in and qualifies 5th. Petrucci 4th.
 
They reckoning over 100 crashes this weekend already. MotoGP riders are going to have to be wide awake!

Pitlane open in 9 minutes (4pm our time) and a quick restart procedure will be in place
 
So happy for KTM and for Rins, weather really mixed things up

Yamaha lose 2nd place in constructors by 1 PT - Rossi's mistake and Vinales's crash.
