Motomia no more

Sad news, still have my 3 year old Motomia. Still in daily use, for comuting. 37Km on a liter.

Not surprised their scooters are rubbish, my ex Motomia packed in after 6000km . Crankshaft failure and was risking badly after two years. They cannot compare to Japanese, German or Taiwanese scooters

My choice would be a Honda or Yamaha ...changwa scoots Bigboy/Jonway/Motomia sooner than later give lots of problems.
No wonder they priced like they are compared to their Jap counterparts

Which scooters come from Taiwan ?

From their site:

Breaking News:

MotoMia is now the No. 1 selling motorcycle brand in South Africa!

We overtook Honda in Dec 2014 by more than 70 bikes!

So they push sales but make no profit?

Oh no! :(

I hope they get rescued. They really are a tip-top company when it comes to customer service.

So that is 4l/100km?

Does not seem that impressive? I would have thought a scooter would use much less than that? My car only uses 2.3l more per 100km.

It would appear Motomia has now gone into Liquidation as all the shops I've seen are closed?

No more warranty I guess, can still have it serviced at various other places though.
