Motorcycle Advice Needed

So I want to get back into biking after I sold my previous bike 2 years ago and haven't ridden since. Seeing as I haven't ridden in a while and I'm going to mostly use the bike to commute to work and back and run some errands, I am leaning towards a CBR125/250 or Ninja 250 as I think they will be easy/cheap to run as well as sell quick when I choose to sell/upgrade again.

Are there any other recommendations for bikes that wont cost a lost and will be easy to sell within a few months?

Thanks. Never ridden one of those before and I believe they have a low seat height which should be great. Shall try to get a test ride this weekend.

Agreed - if you want to go the small bike route and budget is an issue, find yourself a Honda Twister 250 - you will not go wrong. Anybody will tell you, rather go the Japanese route instead of Chinese.

In general it is not legal to provide assisted suicide, so the general advice would be to stay away from these.

Get something from a reputable dealer - and something to keep in mind, in a car your safety is really only dependent on brakes. On a bike, a lot of accidents can be avoided by having a bit more power.

My vote also goes for the Honda NC.

@Papa Smurf had/s one IIRC, with quite a few kilos on it. They are super practical (it even has a cubby for your helmet), cheap to service and maintain, light on fuel with enough power to get you out of trouble while commuting.

Plus the riding position won't kill your wrists in the first week like a sports bike will.
