Motorcycle Helmet Law

The only bike you can ride without a helmet is that BMW with that arch going overhead.

BTW I rode over a circle with only one hand on the handle and saw my p***, and this was just a bicycle :D

Just remember that in the event of a crash I think as much as 80% of all spills when wearing non full faced helmets end in horrible jaw injuries.

I remember my first ever rotten.com picture I saw was 10 years ago or so of a guy before surgery who had a bike crash and lost his jaw and tongue. All you could see was his little tongue and wisdom teeth. Everything else was just opened up like a fire-cracker. I was scarred for life. :(

Safety > Looking cool

Its keeping cool Those full face ones are a portable hothouse.
In any case, a helemet is not guaranteed to save your life or even save you from paralysis.
I've had some serious spills in my biking career with full face -and believe me the head and face was the least of my problems Actually. It was unaffected.

Your advice is moronic.

Exactly who's life am I endangering by wearing a non-legal helmet ... besides my own?

The law should be very specific regarding helmet materials and such, so that those who do use a helmet get only the best, but forcing me to wear a helmet is nonsense, it's my choice.

The goverment makes laws like that to protect stupid people from themselves. Just like you are required by law to buckle up in a car. After all we provide them with income, of course they want to protect us.
