So this may sound stupid to some of you but I would really like to make it certain before I waste my time going and applying.
So I have two International drivers licenses, one is a light weight (normal) manual car and the other is a motorcycle (>150cc) license. they were not obtained in South Africa but are completely valid and in English.
I had to take separate written exams and practical exams for both licenses and now that I'm here and looking to get my <150cc motorcycle license will I need to go and apply for it, have an eye test/medical tests and then write another written exam to get my learners?
I'm thinking that I may not have to write it and could get the learners straight away(except for eye test etc) since I already have a license for motorcycles just not 150 cc or above. I understand taking the practical test to get the proper license but is a written test really that different? anyone have any experience in this?
If i do have to take the written test is there a name for it to study? i heard its called k53 but is that not the test for all vehicles?
Thank you
