Motorola RAZR looking good!

Hey All

I was fortunate to go to the launch of the Motorola RAZR two weeks ago, I had sometime with the phone and I just wanted to write what I think about it - Can you believe we are the 5th country getting the phone! - for once SA is getting into gear

Pros

-SUPER thin and a very sexy and appealing design (will turn heads)
-Amazing Camera, takes brilliant shots at night too!
-touch screen is nice and responsive (thats a winner for a touch screen for me)
-Android operating system (hopefully will be upgradable to *ICS* Ice cream sandwich)
-1780 MAH battery (This is quite amazing to me)
-Gorilla Glass display


Cons

-MicroSim card only (although things are moving this way with iPhone)
-feels a little too thin to get a good grip
-No on device IM system EG: BBM, ChatON (although will have Android apps to back that up like whatsapp)
-Wish it would come with ICS already on it (although it releases in Nov sometime), but comes on Gingerbread


Otherwise once its release the public will decide if it can contend against the likes of the 4S or Galaxy range.

What do you think? - Will you consider the RAZR?

Yes the RAZR is by far the best looking Smartphone around. Unfortunately the screen looks disappointing (http://www.theverge.com/2011/11/7/2543626/motorola-droid-razr-review) and of course you cannot ignore the lack of ICS.

People....chill about ICS. No other phone has it either...except for the new Nexus that launched the ICS! Motorola said that the RAZR will be upgraded to ICS in the future. The Samsung Note also does not have ICS. Sorry..I dont mean to snap...but good grief...if I have to hear one more time about it not having ICS im gonna wip, gooi my toys and ICS someones frekking ASS!!!!!!!

Very true, but im still open to see how big the influence will be with the lack of physical buttons. Anyway nothing in this thread matters anymore. I'll stick with my Desire HD loaded up with CM9 till I get this. (http://www.theverge.com/2011/11/7/2544690/htc-edge-leak)

On another note, I'm not sure about these new HTC names. After the sensation it has become insane. Amaze, Rezound, Vivid, Rhyme..
