Mount Old XP Drive inside new

Hi

I've been running Windows XP Professional for some time.
I've now installed Windows 7 on another larger drive and
am slowly starting to migrate stuff to that drive whilst currently
running a dual boot setup.
I was wondering if it was possible to somehow create a virtual
image of the whole XP drive and then somehow mount and
run it while inside Windows 7.
Can anyone maybe point me in the right direction/know if this can be done?

Yes, but with several dangers so I won't even go there.
A better option would be to create a virtual disk image from your existing partition and work from that.
