Hello,

Hoping that there are some DIY enthusiasts out there. I want to mount a 28" flat screen TV under my lapa. Something that allows the TV to be stored against the lapa roof when not in use (angled roof) and then slide or drop down to "eye" level when in use.

Any ideas on how this can be achieved.

Thanks

PJS

Best idea I saw for this was TV on swivel / extension bracket mounted in custom made cupboard - retracted neatly into and lock up for security and outdoor elements

I would mount a single arm to the tv that has a swivel joint.. the other end of the arm attaches to a secure cupboard on the lapa and has a swivel joint as well.. a cable attached to the swivel point on the tv side of the arm run through a pulley attache to the roof of the lapa will be used to lower and raise the TV as and when needed..

Something like this could be ideal if it was available locally
