Good Day

I have a problem with my mouse drivers...

It's weird, but my mouse works fine, like, all button clicks and all, but everytime I start my PC up.. it says that there are new hardware.. (but it's been there for like 1 year already.. ) anyway, I want to know whether I can stop the "searching for driver thingy... "

Well I tried looking for the drivers.. (On XP driver section..) it has many drivers for the mouse, but it just doesn't want to install them.. Dont' know why.. it keeps saying that you can't not install, because it's not reconised by Windows Logo system thing.. I dont' know what it is.. but is there a way to by pass this?

I just want to stop the bladdy thing poping up the whole time..

easy solution dont switch off pc turn it to sleep or w\ e
also what brand and make is the mouse have you tried there website gone to customer support?

well it was fine before.. It's a microsoft mouse..

wireless mouse and keyboard..

I have tried, it just said that XP will have drivers for it..

1. connect directly to pc and not via hub. (option 1).

(option 2)
2. unplug and restart system
3. after system loads up to dektop, plug everything back in and let windows detect.

The mouse drivers always pop up..

It doesn't matter how many times I unplug the thing.. it's always there..

sigh

isn't there just a way to cancel the program from loading the whole time?

restart computer and go to safe mode. uninstall all mouse drivers in device manager and reboot.
hope this helps.

It's ok, actually I got it working.. But can I just anyway, just in case something happens, if I uninstall all drivers for mouse.. um.. won't it "not work" or something, because I thought it was like uninstalling the drivers of a sounds card...

xp should detect it anyway with it's built in drivers. take a chance bru. what's the worst that could happen:D

I'm just scared that nothing is going to happen, because just now I uninstall it.. then there is no drivers lol.. and then my mouse won't even work.. :P
