Mouse for Xbox 360

Is it possible to use any mouse with an XBOX, or do you need a special ms certified mouse?

I was looking at the XFPS 360 adapter for the Xbox 360 (http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/12316/Connect-a-Mouse-and-Keyboard-to-Your-Xbox-360/) and that basically lets you connect any mouse?

I've given up playing strategy games on xbox with the remote. Any ideas?

I don't think that's an "official" adapter. It will probably give you endless problems...

I wish a mouse did exist that was compatible with all games. I cant see why its so difficult for developers to include a mouse and keyboard as a peripheral and MS to release a mouse. That would probably be the clincher in the PS3 vs XBOX debate. Blargh!!!!!!!

Well, since I'm not a fanboy - no.

I genuinely didn't know.

I know that UT3 has KB/M support for PS3 - but Sony (and I believe) and Microsoft don't want to lose sales of controllers, thus not allowing (or not recommending) the use of KB/M in titles.

The only game I know that used KB/M was UT3 for the PS3.

So ja, I didn't know about the Xbox.

That adapter mimics the Xbox 360 controller, so in a sense you just using an oversized controller.

It's not official! Simply a 3rd-party hack by XFPS.

3 USB ports. 2 in front and 1 at the back
