I use Bonjela, it's absolutely amazing. Normally heals mouth ulcers in less than two days - but it stings. Really, really badly, but fortunately only for a few seconds.

Plus it numbs very quickly and tastes like sambuca ....

I usually get them when im stressed and over tired.
Pure salt straight on the open wound, burns like all hell for a few seconds, then its painless for a few hours (numb), but that starts the healing process, gone after a cpl days...
