Moved from Octotel to Openserve - is this latency normal?

About 2 weeks ago I migrated from Octotel to Openserve while retaining Cool Ideas as my ISP.

It hasn't been smooth sailing at all. Constant disconnects from Openserve, ranging from a few seconds to 2 hours. Have to frequently reboot my router/ONT to re-establish a connection. Cool Ideas have been trying to get Openserve to resolve it, I'm hoping the latest effort does the trick. Apparently the installers left ~150m of excess cable in my ceiling!

I had both Octotel and Openserve lines running in parallel for a few days and I ran some basic tests to compare them. I get the full speed on Openserve that I signed up for (200mb/100mb) but I noticed on Fast.com, my loaded latency in particular is far higher than what my Octotel line was giving me. See screenshots below (top is Openserve, bottom is Octotel on a 100/100 line). Running these tests from CPT if that's relevant...

Tests were both run by plugging my ONT directly into a laptop, using PPPoE.

I'm no expert on this but is this something to be concerned about? I obviously want my line to give me the best experience possible, giving that I enjoy playing online games too. Maybe it's in my head but websites seem to take a lad longer to load than before as well :) Just doesn't seem as snappy as before to me.

Would appreciate some feedback from the knowledgeable crowd! Thanks

It is what I roughly get on openserve aerial vs octotel. i have just assumed it to be the norm since it was better/more stable than LTE or adsl and was the same across ISPs/locations. Someone has mentioned before what the reason was for the overhead maybe an ISP can chime in. @PBCool

They also left excess cable since they use a predetermined length and my run was really short.
