Kung Fu Panda 3 - 6/10
Don't think there's anything new to the series, but that said, not bad for what it is.

Daddy's Home - 4/10
Swing and a miss. Was expecting more from Will Ferrel and got even less than expected from Marky Mark.

Batman vs Superman:
Vokof/10

I'm not a fan of Snyder but I don't think he was the only one at fault here. Bad story, plot, editing, sound mixing and on and on and on.

Affleck's acting was awesome though.

Zootropolis - 7/10

Feel good animation with a few twists and turns and plenty of lulz

The Veil (2016) 5/10

Even Thomas Jane & Jessica Alba cannot save this one...the main issue is the running time is only 1hr30min but the story is just so boring & it drags. Over acting on the part from Jane as well.

Butterfly on a Wheel (2007) 7/10

Never heard of this one before. Caught in on ShowMax. A fairly intelligent thriller with a good cast. Fast pace & nifty twist at the end.

BvS. 7.5/10. Kept me interested for 2 1/2 hours and that's good enough for me.
Eisenberg is really bad. Best scenes feature Wonder Woman.

The Runner 5/10 (2015)

Another mediocre Nic Cage film. First 30mins is sort of interesting but last 1hr is just a mess in execution & ito holdings ones attention.

Sweet Vengeance (2013)

A sadistic priest, loopy sheriff and hot widow come to blows in this western. 7/10

Star Wars 7: the force awakens

5/10

Really felt like a wallet tug. Surfing the brand.. Nothing new in the story.. Droid has a secret.. Get the droid.. The kid with no military background is a pilot, fighter, smuggler, ninja, oh and can fight Jedi...
The old "I am your father" seriously?! Been done man..

Pretty disappointed tbh

In the Heart of the Sea (2015) 7.5/10

Beautifully told & well shot. An enjoyable movie even more so for the history buff. Surprised no Oscar nominations. I would say the best performance from Chris Hemsworth to date; rest of the cast was great as well.

Side note of the "druggie bum son" from Fear the Walking Dead.

The Forest - 6/10
Quite scary in one or two scenes and good atmosphere and acting. Rather predictable storyline though.

The Dressmaker - 8.5/10

I really enjoyed this movie. I love Kate Winslet and all the movies she acts in, so perhaps biased. But truly think she did a remarkable job, pulled the Australian accent off well enough.

The subtle humor is fantastic and all the characters are interesting and played well. Definitely worth a watch for something a bit different.

As Above So Below 7.5/10

Possible spoilers below.

After watching it the second time I had to bump up my rating of 6 due to the Dante's inferno references. It's actually a damn good story just lack some unnerving helplessness I would've included. The protagonists freak out but they never seem to be helpless even though they're on a unwelcomed tour through the 9 circles of hell. It's good to know that this mythical place is an inverted series of tunnels underneath the Paris catacombs where the world is the way you perceive it. lol

Parallels (2015)

A building moves between different versions of earth. Too many questions are left unanswered. 6/10
