Why? Haven't watched the second trailer but the first teaser was on point. So far this looks to be a really cool Batman.

Nope.
Pattinson is on-point, and I'm betting this will be fantastic.
I reckon the only way someone thinks this ruins Batman is if they're one of those morons who thinks an actor ought to be forever judged by some movie they did 12 centuries ago and they've got an issue with Pattinson because he was in a teen vampire movie they probably never even watched but hate because everyone else hates on it.

Pattinson was outstanding in Tenet and he'll be an excellent Bruce Wayne/Batman.

I'm also of the opinion that Pattinson doesn't look like he fit as Batman, just like I didn't liked Phoenix as the Joker. Both are treated as AAA actors, which I don't think they are.
I also watched all three twilight movies.
I personally think Pattinson is a good fit for the role. He can play the charming socialite, but he has that "darkness" which fits the role of Bruce Wayne. He's also just a really good actor in my opinion.
I think this is going to be absolutely epic!!! Shades of Chris Nolan's more dark Batman.

How?
If you're referring to Pattinson, I think he'll be the best Batman to date.
Undoubtedly the most underrated actor of his generation, just because he played a sparkling vampire.
