I guess if mermaids can be black and a Norse god be an alligator then changing a character from an old hag to someone young and hot shouldn't be too bad.

The Sony comic book movies are always middling though that's where everyone else is at the moment.

I'm not familiar with the comics luckily, so I can just watch it for what it is.

I loved Fury Road. This trailer however, doesn't excite me. Looks like they copied/pasted a lot from FR and relying heavily on CGI.

I had the exact same thought when I saw that. The only way this works is if they throw money at it and do a lot of it practically. The trailer tells me otherwise which is a pity.
