Movie Trailers Thread

Yeah, I am over it. A superhero movie used to be: Normal USA -> Something bad -> Guy figures out he's special -> Saves the day. Yay! All go home, popcorn eaten, Slush Puppy done.

Now: More heroes, More movie stars! BADDER Villains! Not just America, but the EARTH, NOOOOO, The MULTIVERSE!!! MORE stuff, THINGS! MORE!!! MORE I TELL YOU!!!! MORE !!!! AAAAARRGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Its just so tiring.

Or maybe I'm old, and I'm sorry I wished for more sci-fi in the late 80s.

It's obvious. You're old, this will be epic.

Already clocked a mil views under an hour. Guess there's still life left in Marvel.

If we are honest, it is because the movie is loaded with OGs. Both Marvel and X-Men OGs.

Marvel is struggling where the "second tier" characters have to carry a film without the OGs, with the exception of Spider-Man.

Just a reminder to the hipsters and cool guys, films can be for entertainment as well...

Man, why did the trailer have to give away so much?

The Steve Rogers reveal wasn't needed. That would have been a huge pop.

Also Gambit could have been under wraps, that's another fan favourite.

We already knew Rogers and Gambit are in the movie, the very first teaser and also the " Hollywood Chairs "and Dr Doom announcement a while back your saw most of the cast.

Perhaps, but the scene they used in the trailer to show him (Rogers) gave away what could have been a properly hyped scene.

Him summoning Mjolnir off screen was huge in Endgame.

Trailers these days tend to give too much away, and it is irritating. You can watch a 2-minute trailer and get all the big moments and reveals.

I think there’s more to this story line.

There’s a few paths they can follow, we have Onslaught from 616 and even Scarlet witch as a villain or even saviour.

So much to come still.
