Moving a VM

Looking to move a VM machine onto another Local machine running VMworkstation. Is this possible and how would I go about it. Any help would be appreciated.

Just copy the folder. Works fine.

It's now on a desktop VMworkstation and want to move it onto my laptop for some work at home. Could I just clone the drive ?

Just copying the folder or specifically the .vmdk file will work.

Just copy all the files in the folder where the machine is located.
