So I recently moved into a new house and the placement of the Vumatel fibre device is not great. Its in a room that was a study but we are using it as a playroom.
My home office is far enough that the wifi coverage is terrible and running a cable is not going to be easy. The walls are 80 years old and pretty solid.

The other thing is that I traced the fibre to a very nice point in the roof where it enters the property. just below that is a cupboard which wouldn't be a bad idea either.
I can have the Fibre terminator and the wifi router in the same spot sharing a battery backup. From there I can run cables to all the rooms that need it and have wifi hotspots in each room as well.
I can run POE adapters to the hotspots as well to give them juice from the battery backup.
Another nice thing about this spot is that its the wall that I share with my neighbour - who co-incidentally contributes towards the line, its complicated but its a duplex and we are sectional title and there is only one fibre line.

It feels easy enough but I'm worried that pulling a fibre cable back though the conduit may damage it and I can't afford to have a week of downtime while they come out and fix it.
How hard will it be for Vumatel to come out and just do this themselves ? Will this be expensive ? I know its going to take the guy like 5 mins to snip and terminate.
